Sentai allows you to modify applications to fit your company like no one else
Sentai Software is based on one word: ADAPTABILITY. Like the chameleon, Sentai Software is designed to change and adapt as the surroundings change. The only way to adapt is to have depth of functionality and an efficient design that can handle the most demanding requirements. Efficiency doesn't just happen; it has to be designed from the very beginning.

The flexibility integral in our applications is based on the core elements of our design as outlined briefly below. Follow the links for more details.

Parameters allow each site to be individually tailored without custom programming. By incorporating approximately two hundred software switches, Sentai is able to greatly reduce the need for custom programming and to minimize any associated risks.

User Interface across all modules is consistent. Using our own "WorkBook" development environment, we have been able to limit the number of different screen layouts while maximizing the functionality of individual screens. The effect on training time and ease of use is dramatic.

Attributes are qualities that define a product. Sentai has developed a concept of attributed inventory to reduce the time required to process a customer invoice and to maintain price and cost of inventory.

Synonyms allow users to assign an unlimited number of identifiers to refer to product groups, products, or any combination thereof. This capability can greatly decrease training time, ease transitions from existing systems, and enhance customer service.

Entities allow extremely complex corporate organizations to develop manageable and sensible charts of accounts that can change with your business without imposing constraints that could affect your ability to make decisions and choices.

Report codes independent of financial account codes allow operation managers to look at information in a view that is relevant to them instead of that imposed on them by the accounting department. If you want to look at historical data in a "what if" scenario, simply adjust your reporting codes and all the changes will be made retroactively without affecting your financial information.

Can-do expressions can consolidate data into a variety of groups where the coding is non-sequential and the grouping was not pre-determined.

Multi-currency functions are used to set up all currencies used by your company in all applicable modules. All transactions can be seen in either the applicable currency or the corporate "home currency". Currency transactions are applied on a real-time basis based on a single exchange table.

Multiple Language tables allow user communities that span multiple language preferences a set of applications that affords each user his or her language choice on a single conventional database.
