Web Groups

Compass Ecommerce:Solutions support an unlimited number of Web Groups. Web Groups can be used to control the site content. Products and categories can be assigned to one or more Web Groups so that certain products can only be available to certain groups of users and hidden from others.

Web Groups can also be used to alter the appearance and behavior of the site. For example, Sentai could create two separate Web Groups, "public" and "discount", and restrict which products display when searching on each site.  In addition, the appearance of each site can be altered so that they seem like separate web presences while both run against the same Trax database.

Please let your Sentai Representative know if you want to make use of multiple web sites for separate Web Groups.
