Compass Ecommerce:Solutions support an unlimited number of Web Users. Web Users are used to associate a web login to an existing Trax customer for pricing, order-from location, and account inquiries.
Web Users can also be defined as "Sales" Users, which are internal salespeople that will use Compass to place orders for their customers over the internet. Sales Users have a more powerful list of available features. As well as being able to order for any of their customers, Sales Users are able to access additional options such as changing pricing, applying discounts, and running a detailed stock status inquiry.
For a simple retail site, only one Web User would be required that will be shared by all users. This Web User would be assigned to a default Trax customer setup with standard pricing and discounts.
