Forward pick zones:  It is almost always advantageous to set up (and continuously reconfigure) Primary Picking Locations. Pinpoint supports Product Velocity Tracking and the ability to reconfigure shelving on the fly. 

Primary Picking Locations for specific Units of Measure (eaches, cases, master packs, pallets, etc.) are also supported and can deliver further economies of scale in the warehouse.

Intra-warehouse replenishment:  Primary Picking Locations require the ability to replenish those locations throughout the course of the day. Pinpoint will automatically generate replenishment tasks based on bin/product specific Mins and Maxs.

Task management:  Further improvements in efficiency can be realized by allowing the warehouse manager to define which tasks (pick, put-away, replenishment, count, etc.) will be done by which operator during which time slots and in which order.

High volume picking methodologies:  Pinpoint supports multiple picking methodologies including primary picking, zone picking, wave picking, pick and pass, and multiple order picking, which can all (when properly applied) drive improvements in warehouse efficiency.

Order prioritization:  The Pinpoint Task Manager provides the WMS with the ability to apply up-to-the-second reprioritizations to any order or task over and above a priority which may have been passed down from the host ERP.
