Sentai's Point of Sale system is a powerful, comprehensive module designed to help the retailer process customer transactions and monitor product inventory levels for single or multiple stores.  

Our Point of Sale system is so versatile that it can be customized with a few simple set up procedures for any type of business or industry. Sentai's Point of Sale system provides the ability to interface to the Sales Order module for product replenishing and ordering from either the store or the HQ levels. In addition, integration to Sentai's Inventory Management modules provides the retailer with current product cost and price updates.

Some of the basic features of the Point of Sale system:

  • Supports cash drawers, barcode scanners, pole displays, and receipt printers
  • Transactions can be interfaced to/from the Inventory Management and Sales Order modules

Inherent Flexibility
While some PoS systems necessitate a total retraining of your retail staff, Trax Distribution:Solutions PoS module is extremely flexible. Your existing cash-out process will be mapped and imitated as much as possible.

On or Off-line & Minimal Hardware
If geographic or network circumstances demand it, Trax Distribution:Solutions PoS can run off-line and batch update the server using a number of data transport options. However, each PoS lane requires only 8K of bandwidth and will easily run on-line with the other stores and stocking locations. As well, there is no need to upgrade your PCs to the latest Pentium. Trax Distribution:Solutions PoS will easily run on a 486.

Absolute Bar-Code-ability, Cash Drawer integration and Receipt printing
Trax Distribution:Solutions are open and easily integrated to all of the major labels of bar-code scanners and cash drawers. In addition, embedded functionality will allow more than one bar-code to refer to a specific product. Case size dependant bar-codes are also supported.
