Application Server

Pinpoint Warehouse:Solutions require a dedicated Windows 2003/XP server with an uninterruptible power supply suitable for local power fluctuations. We recommend brand name servers that can be properly supported. Pinpoint Warehouse:Solutions do not place heavy demands on the server. Sentai Systems Admin specialists can make suggestions about what server specifications should be purchased.

The server will also require a Network Interface Card (NIC) to connect to the 100baseT cabling connecting the access points.

Finally, some means of back-up will be required for the data. Sentai does not generally source application servers, but we can supply more specific configuration details based on your requirements.
