Handheld Units

Probably the most popular type of wireless input device, handheld units are generally shock rated by the number of drops onto a concrete floor that they can sustain. Handhelds have built-in laser scanners and keyboards for data entry.

Handhelds are generally carried in holsters and have a strap to limit the chances of being dropped. These items are usually sold as accessories to the base unit.

A sufficient number of battery chargers will be required to keep the units charged. It is recommended that a second rechargeable battery be purchased for each unit so that battery swaps can occur whenever necessary. These are available for single and/or multiple units depending on the manufacturer.

Sentai will have to configure each unit in order for it to operate with Pinpoint Warehouse:Solutions. You will also require a single programming base station to maintain the units through future upgrades.
